SUMMER YEARLING BULLS

We are able to offer yearling bulls year round. Our program calving is set for May and June. Many of our clients really appreciate our summer yearling bull selection. It's fitting a criteria that allows producers to have short yearlings for fall breeding or long yearlings for spring breeding. The long yearling program offers bulls that are more mature, both in fertility and size. Semen production by these bulls result in an increase in quality and quantity. Plus, at this age they can stand up for themselves against older and bigger bulls which minimizes injuries and enables more cows to be serviced for the money invested. All of this has the end result of reproductive benefits that will enhance any producers program.

GROWTH PHILOSOPHY

All bulls are fed out to yearlings on a 2.5 lb. per day high roughage ration to allow proper growth and enabling them to reach and express their genetic potential, while minimizing any fertility or feet problems. Bulls may be selected anytime on a first come first serve basis.
