We
are very excited about this young bull. Phenotypically he is a
very flawless, smooth and structurally correct bull. He exhibits
a lot of volume, thickness and performance qualities in a maternal
package. Willy's pedigree had some of the best dams in the industry.
This late August three year old has already shown his potential:
in 1999; Oregon State Fair, Champion Bull Calf, N.I.L.E. Champion
Intermediate Bull, took Reserve Grand Champion Bull at the Cow
Palace, and at the 2000 Denver National Stock Show he was the
Intermediate Bull Champion. He won Champion overall breeds at
the 2000 California State Fair, Champion at the Cow Palace and
Senior Red Angus Bull Champion at Denver in 2001. Willy was sold
at the Denver National Western Stock Show with a value of $28,000.
His sire Meyer Chief Dillon 403F, and his dam Meyer W515-F032
have the total package and genetics that they passed on to Willy.
The main comment we get on Willy is that he is the cowman's type
of bull that the industry needs to shoot for. We feel that Willy's
progeny will be able to fit into any environment and that his
potential is unlimited in producing progeny of moderation that
will work.
