lb. Meyer Ground Beef (80% lean)

cup short thin green bell pepper strips

cup short thin red or yellow bell pepper strips

small garlic clove minced

teaspoon dried oregano leaves

onion rolls, toasted

slices mozzarella or provolone (1 oz. each)
Shape
ground beef into four 1/2 inch thick patties. Place patties
on grill over medium coals. Grill 7 to 9 minutes for medium
(160° F), turning once. Season with salt and pepper, as desired.
Meanwhile, cook and stir peppers, garlic and oregano in hot
oil in small non-stick skillet over medium-high heat 3 minutes.
Stir in salt. Place grilled burgers on roll bottoms; top each
with a cheese slice and an equal amount of the peppers. Cover
with roll top.
